Dezső DUDÁS, Chief R&D Architect in HungaroControl the Hungarian air navigation service provider
Dezső DUDÁS is the Chief R&D Architect in HungaroControl the Hungarian air navigation service provider. He passed his university study as a physicist graduated in LASER-optics. He has started to work as a program manager in HungaroControl leading to build the new ACC center at Budapest in 2010. He was the program manager of implementing a remote tower facility at Budapest. Besides that task his main responsibility is to lead the research and development activities in HungaroControl including ATM-architecture, new business and SESAR development like service oriented architecture, new consultancy portfolio and virtual center. He is actively participated the European standardization effort in EUROCAE WG-100 working group regarding remote tower to represent a medium size airport with ground surveillance system. He was one of the experts who contributed in defining the operational concept of remote tower of the contingency system of Dubai DXB airport. rTWR at LHBP: Budapest is implementing a full-scaled remote tower by integrating an A-SMGCS with a distributed camera system. The system capabilities’ demonstration was performed in a SESAR large-scale demonstration last summer. The remote tower technology can support the Hungarian ANSP to maintain his business continuity of aerodrome service of Budapest airport as a two-runway international airport.
